A manufacturer’s designation of a “25 year warranty shingle” is a guideline and a roof may or may not last that long depending on weather, roof ventilation and a number of other naturally occurring factors. Proper ventilation can greatly influence the life span of any given roof as well as other factors.

A. The average roof today generally costs somewhere in the range of $6,000-$7,000. Of course, there will be some variations in pricing due to the size of the home and the square footage of the roof. It is important that you compare “apples to apples” when receiving estimates for your roof. The quality of the roofing materials and experience of the installation crew will certainly play a factor in determining the price of a quality installation. HKC Roofing prides itself only on experienced roofing crews extensively trained in our companies programs. We conduct classes weekly to make sure our crews install our roofs according to Owens Corning Platinum Contractor specifications and follow all safety guidelines. We use premium materials and offer our customers the best warranties in the business. Those warranties are backed up by Owens Corning, which is a $10 Billion company.

A. Most roofing installations take one (1) to 1 1/2 days depending on the size of the roof and the time of year. If someone is taking longer than that on a normal sized roof, odds are they are severely understaffed and you’ll most likely continue to have problems with your installer.

A. Yes, we work with insurance adjusters of all companies. We will do our best to make sure you get the roof you need and deserve.
